SalesTrainers is run by Paul, using his detailed knowledge of professional sales and his pedigree in growing sales revenues and profitability:
  • Over 30 years Sales and Business Development experience in Services, Consultancy and Technology organisations
  • Three 'Top International Salesperson of the Year' awards at two global Technology corporations
  • Two runner-up awards for 'Top International Salesperson of the Year' 
  • UK, European, US and Japanese business experience
  • Experience as a main board Director of both quoted and private businesses
  • Responsibility for revenues of hundreds £m's and teams of hundreds of staff

Bio

​After graduating with a science degree, I started my career programming computers.

​In this role I met many salespeople, who all seemed to have much more interesting, exciting and better paid jobs than me!

So in my mid-20's I applied for a Trainee Sales position in the UK, selling for a US Technology Corporation. 

 

Here I won:

  • Top New Account Achiever of the Year

  • First Quarter Top International Salesperson

  • Third Quarter Top International Salesperson 

  • International Salesperson of the Year

  • Runner-up International Salesperson of the Year (the following year)

  • Runner-up International Salesperson of the Year again (two years later)

  • EMEA Top New Account Achiever of the Year

My next career step was selling Technology and Services for a global Japanese Corporation. 

​Here I won:

  • ​Top European Salesperson of the Year

  • ​Top European Salesperson of the Year again (two years later)​

  • Top European New Name Region

​​I then joined a quoted UK IT recruitment and HR services company as Director of Business Development.

 

Here I led the international business development team, and achieved a 70% growth in international revenue.

​Over the following years I have held senior positions in Business Development, Sales and Sales Development across a variety of business sectors.   

Throughout my career I have received sales training from a number of leading sales training organisation, who have been instrumental in supporting this success in sales.
